Head Coach Heather
Hey everyone! My name is Heather Babcock. I am nineteen years old and a
sophomore at Georgia Gwinnett College and I will hopefully be transferring to
the University of Georgia next year. I am studying to be an elementary
school teacher and I would love to teach in Gwinnett County and coach for
one of the high school teams. I have been swimming for eight years. I
started swimming for Apalachee Aquatics the summer after sixth grade and
then swam for Dacula High School for four years and also swam for
SwimAtlanta during high school. I am still swimming for The G3 Swim Club,
which is the swim club at my school. I enjoy every minute of it!
For the past two years, I have helped coach students on the Dacula High
School swim team and realized it was my passion to coach. I love teaching
new things to people and helping others. I am very excited to get to know
each and every one of you this year! I’m looking forward to the fun and all
of the success I’m positive we will have this year. I’ll see everyone soon!

Assistant Coach Jarret
Hey every body! I’m Coach Jarrett and many of the swimmers call me by this, Coach J, or Coach B. This is my first year coaching for Dacula Dolphins and coaching in general. I love working with kids and I love being able to teach and bring sportsmanship and technique to many.
I have been swimming eight years and I have loved every minute of it. My first year swimming was at Apalachee Aquatics and I made county in freestyle and backstroke in my age group. I have also swam all four years in the high school league at Dacula High School, went to state all of those years, and currently hold the school record in the 400m Freestyle Relay.
My biggest goal for coaching is to teach all of the swimmers just how fun swimming is and how well swimming can be used as exercise, because it is one of the only sports where almost every muscle in your body is being used! I really look forward to working with all of the Dacula Dolphin swimmers this year.
